Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of DigitalWebs ("we", "us") handles information when you use DigitalWebs at https://tools.digitalwebs.in/. It describes the behaviour of the website software as it is configured; if you have questions, please contact us.

1. Tools that run in your browser

Most tools on DigitalWebs process your input locally in your web browser using JavaScript. This includes text tools, calculators, formatters, colour tools, image tools, shipping label tools, PDF and document tools (including text recognition), the resume builder and the policy generators. That input and those files are not sent to our server, and we cannot see them. The software these tools need, such as the PDF and text-recognition engines, is downloaded from our own site, and your browser may keep a copy so that it does not need to download it again.

Some tools keep your work in your browser's local storage so it survives a page reload, such as a resume draft or your answers in the policy generators. It stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time from the tool or your browser settings. We also count that a tool was used, as described below, but not what you entered.

2. Tools that use our server

Some tools need our server, and their page says so:

  • Website and SEO tools fetch the web page or domain you enter. URLs you submit may be kept in a short-lived cache to avoid repeated requests.
  • A few document tools may offer an optional server conversion, clearly labelled as uploading your file. It appears only where this site has been set up to provide it, and you can use the browser version instead.

When a file is uploaded:

  • It is stored temporarily in private storage that is not publicly accessible, under a random file name.
  • Uploaded and generated files are deleted automatically, normally within 60 minutes.
  • Download links are random, private and expire with the file.

3. Information we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message, so that we can respond. A salted, one-way hash of your IP address is stored to prevent abuse.
  • Aggregate statistics: we count page views and tool uses per day without cookies and without storing IP addresses or identifiers.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider may keep standard web server logs (IP address, browser, requested URL, time) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Security: to protect forms against abuse we may use temporary rate-limit records based on a hash of your IP address.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage items. Strictly necessary items (such as a form security token or your consent choice) are always used. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if those features are enabled and, where required, after you consent. See the Cookie Policy for details.

5. Advertising

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and learn more about how Google uses information at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

6. Analytics

If Google Analytics is enabled by the site operator, it loads only after you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner where consent is required.

7. Legal bases and retention

Where data protection law applies, we process contact messages to respond to your request (legitimate interests or steps prior to a contract), aggregate statistics for our legitimate interest in running the site, and advertising and analytics cookies on the basis of consent where required. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and then deleted or archived; temporary files are deleted automatically as described above.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, use the Data Deletion page or contact us. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

DigitalWebs is not directed at children under the age required by the law that applies to you, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
