How to use the Color Palette Generator

  1. Pick a base colour or press Randomise.
  2. Choose a harmony rule.
  3. Lock colours you like, copy values or export CSS variables.

Harmonies are calculated by rotating the hue in the perceptual OKLCH space, which keeps lightness consistent. Shades and tints step lightness while keeping hue. Always check text and background combinations with the Contrast Checker.
