Broken Link Checker

Scan a web page for broken links and report each link’s status code, anchor text and redirects.

Processed on our server. Your input is sent securely to our server for processing. Uploaded files are deleted automatically.

Requests are made from this website’s server. Only public web addresses can be checked; results are not stored.

How to use the Broken Link Checker

  1. Enter the page address.
  2. Optionally include images, scripts and stylesheets.
  3. Click Find broken links and review the results, broken links first.

The checker reads one page, collects its links and checks up to 40 of them within about 20 seconds (HEAD requests, falling back to GET). It does not crawl the whole site. Some servers reject automated requests with 403 or 429 even though the page works in a browser, so verify those manually.

Frequently asked questions

Can it scan my whole website?
It checks one page per run to stay within shared-hosting limits. Run it on your most important pages, or use a desktop crawler for full sites.
