How to use the Color Blindness Simulator
- Upload an image or enter palette colours.
- Choose the type of colour vision deficiency.
- Compare the simulated result with the original.
Simulations use the Machado, Oliveira and Fernandes (2009) model for protan, deutan and tritan deficiencies at full severity, applied in linear RGB, and a luminance conversion for achromatopsia. They approximate perception; individual experiences vary. Images are processed in your browser.
