How this grammar checker works
Your text is sent over an encrypted connection to the grammar service configured by the site administrator, which is compatible with the open-source LanguageTool API. Suggestions are shown in context so you can accept or ignore them. The text is not stored by DigitalWebs.
Automated grammar checking catches many common mistakes but not all, and it can flag correct text. Always use your own judgement.

Why does the tool say the service is not configured?
Grammar checking needs an external language service. Until the site administrator connects one, the tool cannot check text, and we do not pretend otherwise.
Is my text stored?
DigitalWebs does not store it. The configured grammar service processes it under its own privacy terms.
