Check that the whole barcode and its blank margin are inside the box, and test-scan a printed label before shipping.

How to use the Shipping Label Cropper

  1. Drop a label image or PDF and choose the page.
  2. Check the crop box that edge detection placed, and adjust it if needed.
  3. Download the label as a PNG or a PDF at its true size.

Marketplaces and couriers often supply a label in the corner of a full sheet. This tool finds the outer edge of the printed content and places a crop box around it. Edge detection only looks for where the page background stops, so instructions or logos printed near the label get included: always check the box before you download.

Your label is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to our server. Cropping does not change anything inside the box. PDF output is image-based: each page is rendered to pixels, so its text can no longer be selected.

We cannot guarantee that a barcode will scan after any image change, so print a test label and scan it before you ship. Your carrier’s rules always take priority.

Frequently asked questions

Does cropping change the barcode?
No pixels inside the crop box are changed, but the barcode must be completely inside the box. Leave its blank margin (the quiet zone) intact, because scanners need it.
Is my label uploaded?
No. Images and PDFs are read on your device.
Edge detection chose the wrong area. What now?
Drag the box or its handles, or change the tolerance and detect again.
