How to use the Average Calculator

  1. Paste or type numbers separated by commas, spaces or new lines.
  2. Optionally add weights to get a weighted average.
  3. Read the statistics.

Mean = sum ÷ count. The median is the middle value of the sorted list (the mean of the two middle values when the count is even). The mode is the most frequent value. Both population and sample standard deviations are shown; use the sample value when your numbers are a sample of a larger group.
