How to use the Favicon Generator
- Drop a square image, or type a letter or emoji and choose the colours.
- Adjust the padding and corner radius, and check the small sizes.
- Download the ZIP and paste the HTML into your page’s <head>.
The package contains favicon.ico (16, 32 and 48 pixels), PNG icons from 16 to 512 pixels, a 180×180 Apple touch icon, site.webmanifest and the HTML to paste. Start from a simple square design: fine detail disappears at 16 pixels. Test the result with the Favicon Compatibility Tester after uploading. Your images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our server.

Where do I put the files?
Upload them to your site’s root folder, so that /favicon.ico exists, and add the HTML to the head of your pages.
Why is my new icon not showing?
Browsers cache favicons aggressively. Try a private window or a hard refresh.
